Ben Affleck may not have been nominated for Best Director, but he still has something to celebrate. His film, Argo, took home the coveted award for Best Picture at Sunday night's 85th Annual Academy Awards.
Daniel Day-Lewis won Best Actor for his portrayal of President Abraham Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's Lincoln, and Jennifer Lawrence won her first Oscar for Best Actress for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. Adele won the award for Best Song for the theme from "Skyfall."
Seth MacFarlane hosted the show on ABC live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The show went on for over 3 hours and featured several performances as the Oscars paid tribute to music in film.
