How 'Nashville' is Carrie Underwood-inspired

Hayden Panetierre, who plays country upstart Juliette Barnes in the new ABC drama Nashville, takes her stage moves from Carrie Underwood. Well, they certainly look alike. Hayden tells USA Today, "She's one of those girls that doesn't do the whole dancing-around-choreography thing but has that stage presence like no other. She can just stand there and be incredibly interesting."

Hayden grew up listening to country music, and recorded some songs early in her career that never got released. She says that if she had to do it all over, she would be a country singer.
