Keith Urban gives status updates on upcoming projects

Keith Urban worked through the Christmas holiday to put the finishing touches on his new album. He posted a video from the studio on Christmas Day to wish fans happy holidays and to give status updates on various projects:
- American Idol starts January 16th.
- His Australian tour kicks off January 25th.
- A new single is due out shortly after the tour Down Under.
- His U.S. tour launches in late summer with guests Dustin Lynch and Little Big Town.
Keith Urban talked about touring with Little Big Town, saying, "We've toured with Little Big Town before, and I love them. I've always loved them. I love the record they made and just like if they wanted to come out, it would be a great time to collaborate together because I feel it's more collaborative when anybody comes out with us. Like with Jake Owen came out, all of us are putting on a show for the audience because it starts the minute they walk into the arena."
Keith is also up for a Golden Globe. "For You" scored a nod in the Best Original Song – Motion Picture category, as did Taylor Swift's "Safe and Sound." The Golden Globes air January 13th on NBC.
