REPORT: Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy split

US Weekly is reporting that country/pop princess Taylor Swift and her latest boyfriend Conor Kennedy have called it quits, says a close friend of the singer.

The friend tells US Weekly that they "quietly parted ways a while ago" because of distance and that there are no hard feelings between the reported ex-couple. Taylor is currently promoting her just released album Red, and has no time off until the end of the year.

Could this spark up another album for T-Swift? Maybe she's already written a song about it.
