Season 10 champ Scotty McCreery takes a trip down memory lane as he returns to American Idol tonight (Wednesday).

Scotty makes a quick appearance on tonight’s episode, which recaps the Charlotte, North Carolina auditions from last summer. He was on hand, leading cheers in front of roughly 5000 hopefuls, while host Ryan Seacrest worked the mob.
