A Florida man died after eating "dozens of roaches and worms" during a contest held by a pet store.

The 32-year-old collapsed after winning the contest that offered a free python as a prize.

Pals say the man "wasn’t feeling well and began to regurgitate" shortly after the contest ended.

He was later pronounced dead at an area hospital.  An autopsy was conducted, but the cause of death has not been decided yet.

By the way, the man’s prize snake is being held in his name and is considered full property of his estate.
