An 11-year old boy running a Triathlon in Pensacola, FL broke his prosthetic leg in the middle of the race….and what happened next brought the crowd to tears.

Local Marines who had volunteered to help monitor the course picked the kid up and carried him the rest of the way to the finish line.

There weren’t many dry eyes as the crowd cheered them on.

The boy was diagnosed with bone cancer in his right leg when he was 6 and uses prosthetic walking and running legs.

He had completed the 150-yard swim and four-mile bike ride. He was halfway through his 1-mile run when his leg broke in half.
