A 9-year-old Pennsylvania girl was accidentally shot in the shoulder by a family member who thought she was an animal outside of their home.
The girl was over a hillside during a Halloween party, dressed in a skunk costume.
The relative shot her in the shoulder with a shotgun, but she was alert and talking when she was flown the local children’s hospital.
A report on her condition was not available, and police aren’t sure yet if charges will be filed.
