A man trying to put out a fire with a garden hose in Pinellas Park, FL was tased by the cops.
His neighbor’s house was on fire and it was creeping towards his house so he started spraying his fence and house down with a hose.
When cops got there, they told him to back off and let his insurance take care of it.
He grew impatient waiting for the firefighters to get there and didn’t want to watch his house burn down, so he went back to the hose.
The cops yelled “Hit ‘em! Take him down!” and they Tased him without warning.
Cops say he put himself and other officers in harm’s way by going back to fight the fire.
His attorney says they had other options other than Tasing him.
Cops say they could have charged him with obstructing, but they won't.
