A Lebanese man was caught in South Africa trying to fly out of the country with 220 polished diamonds in his stomach.

The man was arrested and given a laxative to get the gems, which were valued at $2.3 million.

Police had started following the man after getting inside information about a possible diamond smuggling ring. He was planning to fly to Dubai.

South Africa is one of the world's top producers of diamonds, so police are always looking for diamond smugglers.
