A woman claiming to be the granddaughter of Orville Redenbacher was arrested for assaulting police.

22-year-old Jordan Jones told a judge in Indiana that she receives her college tuition from a trust fund established by the late popcorn legend.

She was arrested for drunken driving after she locked herself out of her car while it was stuck on train tracks.

She wasn’t hurt, but her car was struck by an oncoming train.

Once police placed her in the squad car, she repeatedly bashed her head against the metal cage and knocked herself out.

When she was taken to the hospital, she became violent and assaulted two police officers and a nurse who were trying to restrain her.

At a hearing, she claimed she was poor and needed a court-appointed attorney, but she also claimed that she is Orville Redenbacher’s granddaughter and collects money for her college tuition from a trust fund established by his estate.
