A Denver shoplifter who was shot in the face by the store owner is now suing the owner for pain and suffering.

The crook waltzed into his liquor store and swiped a bottle of vodka. As he took off the store owner grabbed his gun and followed him out.

He shot the robber with his .357 revolver while he was in the backseat of his getaway car. It hit him in his chest and jaw and has left him disfigured and needing speech therapy.

He’s suing the store owner for $100,000 for behaving “negligently and recklessly.”
