Donald Trump was one of the biggest supporters of the “Obama birth certificate” campaign, and comedian Bill Maher used Trump’s own lines against him on ‘The Tonight Show’.
Maher called for Donald Trump to provide his birth certificate to prove that the real estate mogul wasn’t the spawn of his mother having sex with an orangutan. Maher said he’d pony up $5 million to charities if Trump obliged.
The stunt poked fun at Trump’s own comment that he would give $5 million to charities if the President provided his college transcripts.
Taking Maher up on his bluff, Trump released his birth certificate, proving there was no ape involvement and asked Maher to pay up to five charities of his choice.
No word yet on whether or not the comedian will follow through.
