A Louisiana woman was arrested after she tried to convince investigators that her estranged boyfriend was sending her threatening text messages.
At first, police believed that the 34-year-old was the victim of stalking, but after charges were filed, her ex boyfriend admitted that he didn't own the cell phone that sent the threatening texts.
Detectives then found that the woman had the cell phone that was being used to send the messages.
She now faces felony charges for the false claims.
