A group of 6th graders in Provo, Utah and an eighth-grade student have been suspended -- and one arrested-- in connection with a drug operation.
The ring had gang ties and cops are calling it "organized crime on an elementary level."
Police believe that a 14-year-old boy arranged to buy marijuana and then paid the younger children to go pick up the drugs.
One officer said, "Eleven-year-olds, they can barely tie their own shoes, let alone introduce drugs into their lives and expect them to function on a normal level."
