Cold weather swept through the Northeast and Midwest, tearing the roof of the Pontiac Silverdome along the way.
According to the Weather Channel, up to 12 inches of snow is expected across the Midwest and Upstate New York with temperatures 10 to 30 degrees below average.
The roof of the Pontiac Silverdome was destroyed by high winds, even though it had already been deflated for renovation ahead of the bad weather.
Several holes were ripped into the roof of the former home of the Detroit Lions, but officials said they were not concerned by the damage.
