Japanese automaker, Subaru, is recalling nearly 50,000 zombie-vehicles because they run the risk of starting themselves.
Subaru said the recall applies to Legacy, Outback and Impreza models that were made from 2010 to 2013, as well as Crosstrek vehicles from 2013.
The defect comes from the possibility that the remote engine starter can be dropped, causing it to malfunction and randomly transmit requests for the engine to start without pressing the button.
