During the deadly tornado that ripped through an Oklahoma town, an Elementary School teacher laid on top of six children in a school bathroom. He is said to have been seriously injured.
One woman credited her son’s teacher at another elementary school with saving her son’s life. She said a first grade teacher lifted a wall off the boy as the tornado pummeled the school.
And a sixth grade student said that he and other students ran into a bathroom to escape from the storm.
He explained, “Cinderblocks and everything collapsed on them but they were underneath so that kind of saved them a little bit, but I mean they were trapped in there.”
One woman got into a bathtub with her young children and had to grab her daughter’s hair as the strong winds tried to pull her away.
Survivors said that the storm sounded 'like a train passing over you.'

A blind man was arrested at an airport in New Mexico because he had a few weapons in his bag, including a gun.
The 52-year-old was on his way home after a trip with his family and accidentally packed bullets in his carry-on. When he was questioned about the bullets, he said they were for his gun, which was packed in his check-in bag.
He bought the gun from a private citizen and was told he didn't have to register it. Airport officials told him the gun was illegal since it wasn’t and he also needed to declare the gun at the airport before the flight.
The man was arrested and the officer that cuffed him refused to give him his cane. He was in jail for 10 hours with no food and no opportunity to speak with an attorney. He was charged with possessing illegal weapons.
Later on, the man claimed he was mistreated and that police took advantage of his disability.
The man claims that, even though he's blind, he knows how to use a gun, can shoot a target and keeps them for protection at home. He plans to fight the charges.

A ten-year-old from Utah was caught bullying another student for her wardrobe.
Her stepmother forced the girl to wear thrift store clothes.... to learn how to feel the pain of her victim.
The girl had to attend school for two days in outfits that were purchased for under $50, after a teacher told her stepmother that she was bullying another student who no longer wanted to attend school.
The teacher reported that the girl harassed the student for at least three weeks and was tearing apart her wardrobe, saying the girl was “dressed like a sleaze.”
The girl admitted that she cried when she saw the thrift store clothes, but the unique punishment did work.
She says that she has learned her lesson- especially when her classmates saw her in the clothes and talked behind her back.
An enormous tornado roared through the Oklahoma City suburbs, killing at least 51 people, including 20 children Monday.
The two-mile-wide twister pulverized entire city blocks, left behind miles of mangled cars and splintered wood, and destroyed an elementary school where seven children were found dead.
At one hospital, 85 patients, including 65 children, were being treated for minor to critical injuries.
At least seven of the dead children were killed at an Elementary School, where the tornado tore the roof off the school about 3 p.m.

Officials said the dead children drowned in a pool of water in the ruins of the school.
The tornado tore a 20-mile path, was on the ground for 40 minutes, and was declared a major disaster by President Barack Obama.
1. Your kid's teacher--Sharing on Facebook could become uncomfortable, especially if an issue happens at school. The teacher may feel it's difficult to be objective about your child or that you're asking for special treatment.
2. The weekend babysitter--It's fine to poke around online before you hire but decline her friend request. You're bound to see a post or photo that makes you cringe and it could ruin your relationship.
3. The moms in your kid's class--This one's a yes, but be selective. Pick only the moms you're already friendly with. You're not going to bond with the whole parent body online and shouldn't risk annoying potential future playdates with your posts.
4. Your family pediatrician--Facebook isn't the place for medical communication, and unless you go out for drinks regularly with your kid's doctor, they simply shouldn't be a part of your social life.
5. An old boyfriend--If either of you is married, then no. The posts or pictures could hurt your partner's feelings. Many people have a hidden agenda for finding and friending an ex, so be honest about why you're reaching out.
An Atlanta college student didn't want to tell his parents he was failing an English class, so??....
The 19-year-old bought a cellphone, texted his parents a story about being kidnapped and camped out for about a week in an undeveloped area.
He returned home after about a week when it got to cold and rainy to stay outside overnight.
He is charged with making a false report, false statements, tampering with evidence and terroristic threats.
A Houston landlord has built a fake cemetery to keep homeless people from loitering on his property.
The small park area is located in the shadows of the city’s tallest buildings and has been used as a sleeping area for the homeless for years.
He put a fence up around the green grass, and then got some headstones that were rejects from a local stonecutter. They have the names of actual dead people on them.
The park is close to a highway underpass where homeless people are known to sleep. He's hoping the makeshift graveyard does the trick.
