

16-year-old American Idol runner-up Lauren Alaina has reportedly lost 25 pounds in the last five months. The Georgia native and country singer tells Us Weekly, “Changing my diet was the big thing.” She also cites “portion control” as a big part of her weight-loss plan, which includes “egg-white omelet for breakfast, shrimp and veggies for lunch and chicken with asparagus for dinner.” Crunches, pushups and squats are part of her daily workout routine. Lauren says she’s a size two now and is 10 pounds away from her goal.
