A North Carolina woman who bought a $10 painting at Goodwill saw it sell at auction for almost $35,000.

She bought the painting to recycle the canvas and paint over the picture… she likes to paint cats.

Her friend suggested she look up the artist first (Ilya Bolotowsky), so she hit up Google and realized it could be worth some cash.

Sotheby’s sold it for almost $35,000 to an unknown buyer.

She says she’ll use the money to do some home improvements and pay off some debt.
