A handful of cities across the U.S. – including Los Angeles – have banned plastic bags handed out by grocery stores and other retail stores.

And now, one town may start the ball rolling on plastic water bottles.

Concord, Massachusetts, has banned the sale of single-use water bottles – any bottle that's 34 ounces or less.

If you’re caught selling a bottle of water there, you’ll get hit with a $25 fine – and then $50 fines for further infractions. (SustainableBusiness.com)
