The CMA's new Entertainer of the Year Blake Shelton headed to Hollywood over the weekend to tape his first Christmas special for NBC. The show is titled Blake Shelton's Not So Family Christmas, and he promises that it will be full of B.S. -- Blake Shelton -- that is. 

“I’ve always kind of been an NBC guy, and they allowed us to be real edgy with it. They allowed me to be me. It’s not a concert by any stretch of the imagination. It’s music. It’s just me, is all I can say.”

  The special airs December 3rd on the peacock network

 

Jake Owen and his wife Lacey are just a few weeks away from becoming first time parents to their daughter they plan on naming Pearl. Jake says he's been painting the nursery in preparation for the blessed event.  Baby Pearl will be named for Jake's godmother who passed away this summer.

 

Pop singer Matt Nathanson is accusing Taylor Swift for lifting a lyric from his song "I Saw." The song in question, "All Too Well," from Taylor's Red album, contains the lyrics, “And I forget about you long enough to forget why I needed to.” The lyric closely matches Nathanson's lyric, “And I’ll forget about you long enough to forget why I need to."  Nathanson took to Twitter to express his frustration. He writes, "So far, my favorite thing about today is the wave of @taylorswift13 fans calling me a prick on Twitter for writing 'I Saw' in 2003.

 

Looks like the Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Eric Church collaboration “The Only Way I Know” is the second single from Jason’s new album Night Train. He said it was a quick decision to make “Know” the follow-up to “Take A Little Ride,” which was the fastest rising single of the year.  The three friends premiered the track together as the opener to last week’s CMAs.
