Shania Twain arrived at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on horseback today to get ready for her two-year residency at the hotel's showroom. The show, Shania: Still the One, starts on December 1st.  Tim McGraw and Faith Hill open their 10-week Vegas run at the Venetian on December 7th.

Keith Urban is finding the time to make a new album between American Idol auditions and visiting Nicole Kidman on a movie set in France. Apparently the Idol schedule works perfectly with his agenda. Keith says, "The good thing is that the auditions aren't like weeks and weeks. We'll do two days somewhere, then two days somewhere else, and they're not often strung together."  Keith just announced the first run of dates for his 2013 North American tour featuring Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch.   

Blake Shelton has made it to People magazine's Sexiest Man list in two categories -- he's on the main list, and he represents the state of Oklahoma in the United States of Sexy rundown. Miranda Lambert says her man is sexy because he's "very caring and loyal."  Country did pretty well in the state category -- Brad Paisley represents West Virginia, and Dierks Bentley made the cut for Arizona.

Lauren Alaina rang in her 18th birthday over the weekend with a surprise prom-themed bash in her hometown of Rossville, Georgia. Thinking she was going to an intimate dinner with friends and family, she was instead escorted to a location where friends from her high school were waiting, along with a dress to change into. 

An ambassador for the Special Olympics, Lauren has worked with children with special needs, and many of them were made the night’s honorary prom kings and queens. Also at the party was Jordan Trunfio, a student from Springfield, Virginia suffering from a brain tumor. Lauren and Jordan first met few weeks ago when she surprised him at his Homecoming dance.

Lauren just wrapped the 18-city Inch by Inch tour. Next on her calendar is the American Country Awards in Las Vegas on December 10th. She’s up for New Artist of the Year.
