"CBS This Morning" asked CARRIE UNDERWOOD if there's a feud between her and TAYLOR SWIFT. She said, quote, "No. Not that I know of. In every magazine . . . newspaper or gossip TV shows, they can just get away with it by saying 'a source said' . . . or a friend said or an insider said. I read the most ridiculous things about myself when people do that."
TAYLOR SWIFT doesn't write songs about her exes to get back at them . . . she does it to deal with the pain. She says, quote, "It's me sitting on my bed feeling pain I didn't understand, writing a song, and understanding it better . . . it's just something I do to feel better."
BLAKE SHELTON told the "Today Show" that his new album will be called "Based On A True Story" . . . and it's going to drop March 26th. He also debuted the video for his song "Sure Be Cool If You Did". Miranda Lambert might have met her next duet partner at the Grammy Awards. Pop star Alicia Keys says that even though she doesn't do a lot of collaborations, Miranda is on her short list. She tells Entertainment Tonight, "We were this close in the dressing room and I just told her how much I love [her and husband Blake Shelton] and how incredible she is and how beautiful her voice is, so we'll see."
