The Music City Minute ...

Jason Aldean recently made the transition from country music star to mainstream celebrity when TMZ recently posted photos of him with American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr.  He immediately responded with a written statement acknowledging the incident and he emphasized that he left the bar alone that night.  Still…Jason admits that the whole thing has been a source of personal embarrassment…and now he’s ready to talk about it.  Listen to what he told CMT Insider:

The performance lineup for the upcoming CMA Awards just keeps getting bigger.  Co-host Carrie Underwood just got added to the list!  Is she worried about juggling a performance with her co-hosting duties? Not at all!  Carrie says she stays so busy with everything…she doesn’t have time to worry or stress!  Other artists just added to the performance lineup include Kenny Chesney, Eric Church and The Band Perry.

It’s not just his record label that Jason Aldean tries to impress when it comes to new music…it looks like his daughters (9 year old Keeley and 5 year old Kendyl) have to give their approval too! And they do a pretty good job of picking hits!  Jason’s new album Night Train hits stores a week from today.
