Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are just a handful of stars who will celebrate Bruce Springsteen as the 2013 MusiCares Person of the Year.  The special event will celebrate Bruce’s artistic achievements as well as his philanthropic work.  Since Bruce Springsteen is known for putting his soul into his music…it’s fitting that Kenny Chesney would be one of the ones to highlight him.  The show will take place February 8^th in L.A…just two days before the Grammy Awards.

He said he wouldn’t do it…but Jason Aldean will make his acting debut in the movie Sweetwater.  It’s a Western set in the late 1800’s and also stars January Jones and Ed Harris.  Sweetwater will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival later this month.

Congrats to Eric Church.  He’s the only country artist on The New York Times list of Best Concerts of 2012.

Little Big Town's recent album, Tornado, has just been certified Gold for sales over half a million.  Karen Fairchild admits that the group went into the recording process a little different for this album.  She says they knew they wanted to record something completely different than anything they had ever done before - they were nervous...but excited to see what would happen.

Have you broken your New Year’s resolution yet?  Kip Moore hasn’t…because he didn’t make one.  Kip says he tries to better himself all year long - everyday.  He's never made a resolution...and he doesn't plan on making one anytime soon.
