Jason Aldean’s role in the new movie Sweetwater is a small one. He only has a few lines and he plays a pretty bad dude. But Jason says he wanted to keep his part small – he wasn’t even sure if he could act. He also admits that if he was going to be a bad guy, he wanted to be seen in the film as little as possible. You can see an exclusive first clip of Jason in Sweetwater right now (just click his pic above). Sweetwater opens in theaters October 11th.
You'll see Jason at the very end of this clip...but he certainly makes his presence known!

Thomas Rhett’s dad Rhett Akins has been a big name in country music for the last two decades…as both a singer and a songwriter. So it wasn’t unusual for Thomas to see a country celebrity in his home growing up. He even remembers asking Blake Shelton for some homework advice. Speaking of Thomas and his dad, they recently made history together. Between both of them, they had written five of the Top 10 songs on Billboard’s country music chart.
Here’s the breakdown:
Thomas wrote the #1 song “Round Here” for Florida Georgia Line. He also wrote his own #9 song, “It Goes Like This”. The #10 song was Lee Brice’s “Parking Lot Party”…which both Akins’ took part in writing. To finish out the five songs, Rhett Akins wrote Justin Moore’s "Point At You” and Billy Currington’s “Hey Girl”.
